At Income Tax Consultants LLC, the safety and health of our Customers and Employees is our utmost priority. Like you, we are closely monitoring the latest information on the Coronavirus (COVID‐19). In light of the recent events surrounding the spread of COVID-19, we want to provide a brief synopsis of our plan that will enable us to continue to meet the needs of our customers while also placing a high priority on the safety of our employees and community.
Governor Cuomo announced on June 22nd, 2020 New York City is now in PHASE 2 Re-opening. PHASE 3 Re-opening is on track for July 6th 2020. The following businesses are allowed to reopen with social distancing measures:
- Business Offices
- Real Estate
- Property Management and Commercial Building Management Firms
- Real Estate brokers
- Building Inspectors and Building Appraisers
- Retail Businesses – Both essential and non-essential retailers can resume in-store operations
- Vehicle sales, leases, and rentals (Car Dealerships)
- Rental, Repair, and Cleaning businesses
- Hair Salons and Barbershops
- Restaurants for outdoor seating and take-out
Currently, Individual, Business, and Corporate taxes which were originally due on April 15 have been extended to July 15, 2020. You can still file an extension to October 15, 2020 if you need more time.
Income Tax Consultants LLC, as an accounting firm, is currently re-opened to public walk-in service. We will have precautions in place and will attempt to maintain social distancing but we ask for your cooperation. Normally everyone will be in the waiting room, but we ask, if you need to wait for pickup, you can wait in the 3rd floor lobby area just by the elevator. It is more open and you can maintain social distancing.
Anyone who has already dropped off or uploaded their information, we will complete your return and inform you or email you. You can choose to complete the transaction online (through our instructive procedures, as many of you might already be familiar with) or schedule an in-person pickup of your tax return.
Anyone who has not dropped off or upload their information, you can use our online service to upload documents and schedule an appointment later for in-person pickup or completed the transaction online. We are setting up a Zoom or similar video conferencing program to accommodate our remote filing clients. Feel free to find out the availability.
