-Important Update regarding Coronavirus
and Tax Update from Income Tax Consultants -

At Income Tax Consultants LLC, the safety and health of our Customers and Employees is our utmost priority. Like you, we are closely monitoring the latest information on the Coronavirus (COVID‐19). In light of the recent events surrounding the spread of COVID-19, we want to provide a brief synopsis of our plan that will enable us to continue to meet the needs of our customers while also placing a high priority on the safety of our employees and community.

Governor Cuomo announced the "New York State on PAUSE" executive order, a 10-point policy to assure uniform safety for everyone.

1. Effective at 8PM on Sunday, March 22, all non-essential businesses statewide will be closed;
2. Non-essential gatherings of individuals of any size for any reason (e.g. parties, celebrations or other social events) are canceled or postponed at this time;
3. Any concentration of individuals outside their home must be limited to workers providing essential services and social distancing should be practiced；
4. When in public individuals must practice social distancing of at least six feet from others;
5. Businesses and entities that provide other essential services must implement rules that help facilitate social distancing of at least six feet;
6. Individuals should limit outdoor recreational activities to non-contact and avoid activities where they come in close contact with other peopl;
7. Individuals should limit use of public transportation to when absolutely necessary and should limit potential exposure by spacing out at least six feet from other riders;
8. Sick individuals should not leave their home unless to receive medical care and only after a telehealth visit to determine if leaving the home is in the best interest of their health;
9. Young people should also practice social distancing and avoid contact with vulnerable populations; and
10. Use precautionary sanitizer practices such as using isopropyl alcohol wipes.

Currently Individual, Business, Sales and Corporate taxes have been extended the due date to July 15, 2020. New York State is following Federal guidelines which is an automatic 90 day extension. If you know you owe tax to the government, there will be no interest and no penalties levied within the extended due date. This is an automatic extension, no action is required.

Income Tax Consultants LLC, as an accounting firm, is currently operating on a no-public schedule. We are not open to any customers, but only through telecommunications or emails. Anyone who has already dropped off or uploaded their information, we will complete your return and inform you or email you. You can choose to complete the transaction online (through our instructive procedures, as many of you might already be familiar with) or wait until the PAUSE is lifted to pick up your tax return. Anyone who has not dropped off or upload their information, you may wait until travel is allowed in NYC to come and drop off. Or, you can use our online service to upload documents and schedule an appointment later after this crisis is over.
